Joel Stenslie PT

Joel Stenslie, PT is the Department Director and a licensed Physical Therapist at St. Francis Rehabilitation, Columbus, GA, and has been employed with HPRC since 2008. He received his B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Hoge School Enschede, Netherlands, and a B.S. in Exercise Science from University of Montana in 1996. Joel is ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Massage) certified and his interests are orthopedics, sports performance and manual therapy. He is a member of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association and serves on its Practice Affairs Committee. He lives with his wife, Kathy, and family in Columbus, GA. He enjoys triathlons.

Kathryn Stenslie PT, DPT

Kathryn Stenslie, PT, DPT is a licensed Physical Therapist in Columbus GA and serves as Vice President of Operations for HPRC.  Kathy has been employed with HPRC since 2008. She received her post professional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the EIM Institute of Health Professions in 2012, her B.S. degree in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Hogeschool Enschede, Netherlands, and her B.S. degree in Health and Exercise Science in 1995 from Furman University. She is ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Massage) and dry needling certified and her interests are in orthopedics and manual therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), APTA Private Practice Section, APTA Orthopedic Section and Physical Therapy Association of GA. She currently serves as President of the Institute of Private Practice Physical Therapy for the Private Practice Section. She resides in Columbus, GA with her husband, Joel, and 3 children. Her hobbies include running, biking, triathlons, family and travel.

Brittany West PT, DPT

Brittany West earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Augusta University. Prior to that, Brittany obtained her Bachelor of Science from Columbus State University.

Brittany specializes in orthopedics and is most interested in treating hip pain, sports injuries, and pregnancy/postpartum returning to fitness.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys spending time with my family, CrossFit, and riding bikes.

Christopher Campos PT, DPT, Cert.DN, TPI Level I

Chris Campos is a Licensed Physical Therapist in his hometown of Columbus, GA. He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Wellness at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, GA and continued his education to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Georgia Southern University – Armstrong Campus in Savannah, GA.

Chris specializes in orthopedic conditions with his greatest interest being in return to sport for the athletic population. Certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, and as a former collegiate golfer, he is equipped to assist patients in returning to the course with improved mechanics and decreased pain. Additionally, he is certified to perform Dry Needling as an intervention for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

In his free time Chris enjoys house and yard projects with his family. He enjoys cooking as a passion passed on to him by his grandmother and father. He also plays golf and enjoys frequently training for half marathons with his wife.

Hunter Caldwell PT, DPT

Hunter Caldwell is a Licensed Physical Therapist at our River Road location in Columbus, GA. Hunter earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Mercer University in Atlanta. Prior to that, Hunter attended Columbus State University for his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. Hunter’s interests include sports injuries, return to sport/recreation, and gait and balance conditions. When he is not in clinic, Hunter can be found backpacking, hunting, or at the gym.

Joanne O’Connor PT, PRPC

Joanne O’Connor earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut.

Joanne specializes in women’s health and spine issues and is most interested in treating women’s health.

In her free time, Joanne enjoys reading.

Allie Morgan PT, DPT

Kayla Aponte DPT, CSCS

Dr. Kayla Aponte is originally from Orlando but moved to Columbus during her time in the United States Army while being stationed at Ft. Benning. After serving 6 years in the military, she completed her undergraduate degree at Columbus State University and then pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. While finishing her didactic work, she became a certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified nutrition coach. She then completed a pelvic health mentorship with Joanne O’Connor in addition to multiple pelvic health courses, where she developed her manual therapy and clinical competency skills in the pelvic floor specialty. Dr. Aponte is very passionate about pelvic health and helping people who suffer in silence. She is currently specializing in women’s pelvic health for Pregnancy, post-partum, incontinence and pelvic pain dysfunctions. On the personal front, Dr. Aponte is a wife and mother of 3 children. She enjoys all things exercise related, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Elliott Kees PTA

Elliott Kees, PTA is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at St. Francis Rehab River Road, Columbus, GA. He was employed with HPRC in 2010. He earned his PTA degree in 2009 from Darton College and previously earned a B.S. degree in Exercise Science in 2007 from Columbus State University. His interest is orthopedics. Elliott lives in Columbus, GA, and his hobby is playing golf.
