Physical Therapist/Clinic DirectorDr. Oyekanmi earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University followed by his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University. Dr. Oyekanmi is a licensed Physical Therapist in both Georgia and New York. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS). He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Georgia local chapter. He spent time as an adjunct faculty at CUNY College of Staten Island’s Physical Therapy program and serves as a Clinical Instructor for Physical Therapy Students. He is a Fellow in Training in the specialty of Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy. Dr. Oyekanmi specializes in treating post-surgical, orthopedic and sports related injuries with an affinity for spine related injuries, jaw pain/TMJ and headaches, with an emphasis on manual therapy. In his free time, you may find Dr. Oyekanmi catching up with family members and friends, watching a movie/series or simply relaxing.

Physical Therapist AssistantJared graduated in 2021 as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Genesee Community College in Batavia, NY. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Gerontology from Brigham Young University in 2014. Jared has worked in Physical Therapy clinics for a decade in outpatient clinics, hospitals, and industrial settings in Utah and New York. These experiences have allowed him to garner an expansive skillset of therapeutic tools and techniques from a variety of top clinicians. Jared can speak Spanish clinically at an intermediate level and enjoys assisting Spanish-speaking patients on their path to recovery. He enjoys spending time with his family hiking, camping, and serving actively at church and in local communities. He currently lives in Lovejoy with his wife and 5 children.

Physical TherapistVaishali Desai earned her Bachelor’s degree in physical Therapy in 2008 from India. Upon moving to the United states in 2011, she passed her board exam and completed an internship in an outpatient setting to get her Physical therapy license. Currently Vaishali is a licensed Physical Therapist in Georgia and has been practicing in Georgia since 2013. Her major work experience is in the acute care and long term care settings. She joined HPRC in April 2023 and she enjoys working in an outpatient setting. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her 5 year old son and her husband. She enjoys catching up with friends and watching television.
