Clinic DirectorSamantha Kent is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist at HPRC Pediatric Rehabilitation in Columbus, GA. She joined HPRC in July 2023 after receiving her M.S. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Auburn University. She completed her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in Savannah, GA at Georgia Southern University with a minor in Psychology. Samantha has been Clinic Director at HPRC Pediatric Rehab since November 2025. Samantha is passionate about early language intervention and feeding/swallowing rehabilitation for children with dysphagia. She currently lives in Opelika, AL with her husband. In her free time, Samantha enjoys hiking, visiting new coffee shops, eating at new restaurants, and reading!

Karen earned her Master’s of Arts in Communication disorders from Eastern Kentucky University. Karen is licensed to practice in both Alabama and Georgia. She is also accredited by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and has been practicing as an SLP for 33 years. In her free time, Karen enjoys hiking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She is most interested in practicing pediatrics and loves watching her patients meet their goals.

Physical TherapistCourtney Johnson, PT, DPT is a licensed Physical Therapist at Pediatric Rehabilitation in Columbus, Georgia. She joined HPRC in November 2020. Courtney received her B.S. in Biology from LaGrange College in 2014 and went on to complete her DPT in Physical Therapy at Emory University in 2017. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and currently lives in Columbus with her husband, their two daughters (and expecting twins soon!) and their two fur babies.

Ashley received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Faulkner University. Her clinical interests include: language disorders, phonological disorders and awareness skills, gestalt language processing, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Ashley lives in LaGrange, Georgia, where she spends time reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Judy received her B.S. in Marketing and Advertising from Syracuse University in 2007. Judy went on to receive her DPT in Physical Therapy in 2014 from the University of Connecticut. Judy lives in Fortson, Georgia with her husband and 2 daughters. In her spare time, Judy enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and having “girl time” with her daughters.

Kelly graduated from Indiana University in 2024. Kelly’s favorite thing about being an SLP is developing relationships with her patients and watching them grow and gain confidence in themselves. Kelly enjoys doing play-based, child-led therapy.
Kelly also loves outdoor activities like biking, hiking, skiing, and walking her dog.

Speech-Language PathologistAmanda Garcia, M.S. CF-SLP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist at our Pediatric Rehab Easter Seals location in Columbus, Georgia. Amanda joined our team in August 2025.
Amanda received her B.S. and M.S. in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Auburn University in 2025. Amanda’s favorite thing about being an SLP is seeing the look on her patient’s faces when they achieve something they have been working so hard on. Amanda is passionate about making therapy engaging, personal, and fun for each patient.
In her free time Amanda enjoys playing pickleball, going on walks, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family.

Alyssa graduated from Utica University in Utica, New York. Alyssa’s clinical interests include pediatrics, emotional regulation and mental wellness, and orthopedics of the upper extremity. Alyssa currently resides in Midland, Georgia. In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys watching movies, exploring new places (such as restaurants and pop-up shops), baking, and going for walks. Alyssa also coaches volleyball.

Jennifer “Buffy” Williamson, M.S., CCC-SLP is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed with the state of Georgia. She graduated in May 2000 from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Buffy also obtained her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University in 2003. Buffy has worked with Muscogee County School District since 2003 and with HPRC since 2010. She enjoys working with children ages 2 through high school and has experience with pediatric disorders for articulation, language and stuttering. She has a husband, three sons and two cats. Buffy enjoys going for walks, painting, photography, singing, reading and watching classic movies.

Kennedy is originally from California, spent 8 years in Texas, and moved to Columbus, Georgia in 2025. She loves working in pediatrics because she gets to play as part of her job, and she thinks it’s awesome to teach kids how to move! In her spare time, Kennedy enjoys spending time outdoors, playing with her dog, baking, and exploring restaurants with her husband!
