Malone Otwell MSPO, CPO
Director, Prosthetist & OrthotistMalone Otwell earned her Master of Science in Prosthetics + Orthotics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs!
Malone has published research in the field of upper extremity prosthetics and is passionate about providing innovative, patient-centered prosthetic and orthotic care.
Outside of work, Malone enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys on their family farm, where they enjoy life with their horses and the rest of their animals. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, especially scalloping and lobstering. Malone also enjoys scuba diving and competitive swimming with a local Masters swim team.

Ashish Doshi CPO, LPO, FAAOP
Prosthetist & OrthotistAshish Doshi, CPO, LPO, FAAOP is a licensed Orthotist & Prosthetist and has been employed with HPRC since 1996. He received his B.S. degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1991 from University of Bombay, India. His certifications include: American Board for Certification, Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist; and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists. His specialties and interests are myoelectrically controlled upper extremity prosthetics, and microprocessor-controlled knee joints in lower extremity prosthetics.
He is a licensed Orthotist and Prosthetist in the states of Georgia and Alabama. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists, Georgia Society of Orthotists & Prosthetists, and the Alabama Prosthetic & Orthotic Association.
He lives with his wife and their two children in Columbus, GA. His hobbies include photography, reading and traveling.

OrthotistKaren Newsome, CO, LO is a licensed ABC Orthotist at Medical and Health Resources, Columbus GA. She has been employed with HPRC since 1988. She received her degree in Orthotics in 1994 from Northwestern Medical University, her BS degree in Education with a minor in Sports Medicine from Columbus College in 1989 and a BA in 1986 from Chattahoochee Valley Community College. Her Specialties include: Starband Custom Cranial Remolding Helmets and Scoliosis Management.
She lives in Phenix City, AL and her hobbies include: taking care of plants, going to the beach, watching sports and spending time with her dogs and cats.

Office ManagerTina has been the office manager for Medical and Health Resources since 2002. She started out handling all of the Insurance and billing and was quickly promoted to office manager. Tina grew up in Panama City, Florida and currently resides in Phenix City, Al.
In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her daughter and grand daughter, taking road trips and going to the beach. She enjoys helping others and volunteering her time to help anyone in need.

Lead Prosthetic TechnicianJared Richardson is a lifelong resident of the Columbus area and has been an integral part of Medical and Health Resources for more than 21 years. As the Lead Prosthetic Technician, Jared brings more than two decades of hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a passion for creating solutions that help patients regain mobility and independence.
Jared is the man behind the design. With a diligent, hands-on approach and a natural ability to solve problems, he works closely with our clinical team to bring prosthetic designs to life and create customized solutions for each patient’s unique needs.

CFO Certified Orthotic FitterElizabeth “Liz” Knox is a Certified Orthotic Fitter with Medical & Health Resources in Columbus, Ga. Liz has been employed with HPRC for 8 years and became a Certified Orthotic Fitter in 2025.
Liz earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Health Science.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her family (Kirby, Cooper Ann, dog Bailey). She enjoys watching sports (War Eagle), reading, and spending time at the beach.
