Our Staff
Ken Copes graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995 with a degree in Physical Therapy.
Ken began specializing in the treatment of back pain while still in Physical Therapy school. He teaches unique relaxation and strength exercises to reduce muscle spasms along the spine that restore normal mechanics of the spine. He also utilizes a manual technique called Arthropraxis that can help reduce pain instantly. He believes this focus on the spine is the key to facilitating the normal mechanics throughout the entire body.
Ken is a long standing supporter for local art and music. He was involved in the beginning years of the Lyndon House Art Center. As a bass player he plays with the local band “Kenny and the Bashers.”
He loves playing volleyball, kayaking, listening to live music, and viewing local art.
Hank earned a degree in Health Education from the University of Georgia in 1984 and a degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia in 1987.
He became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1985 and a Fellow of Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute in 2015.
As a long-standing member St. Joseph’s Catholic Church has been involved in numerous ministries within the church. He was strongly affiliated with Monsignor Donovan High School as a board member, a parent, leader of Haitian mission trips, and continues as the Athletic Trainer for the football team.
With his wife, native Athenian Marianna Brogan, they have three grown children. They enjoy outdoor activities of biking, hiking, kayaking and sailing. He also has a passion for Georgia football and regularly uses his photography skills as a sideline photographer.
John earned a degree in Exercise Science from The University of Mississippi in 2009 and a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Athens Technical College in 2014.
He started his career in Physical Therapy as an aquatic Physical Therapist Assistant in the Athens area before pursuing his passion of orthopedic land based Physical Therapy. His ultimate goal is to help individuals return to a functional, pain free life.
John is a Georgia native currently living in Athens and enjoys living a healthy lifestyle, rock climbing, photography, and college football.
