Roy “Dunny” Dunlap, Jr. PT, ATC

Department Director, Physical Therapist

Dunny Dunlap, PT, ATC is a licensed physical therapist employed with HPRC since 1987. He is Director of HPRC Physical Therapy in Columbia and Lexington, South Carolina. His education includes: Winthrop University, MBA 2001; Medical University of South Carolina, B.S. in PT 1987; The Citadel, M.Ed. in 1984 and B.S. in 1980. Dunny is certified in Dry Needling, Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer and his specialties and interests include orthopedics and sports injuries. Memberships include: APTA (American Physical Therapy Association); PPS (Private Practice Section of APTA); SPTS (Sports Physical Therapy Section of APTA); NATA(National Athletic Trainers Association); SCATA (South Carolina Athletic Trainers Association).

Kelly McCook, PT

Physical Therapist

Kelly McCook, PT is a licensed Physical Therapist at HPRC in Columbia, SC. She has been employed with HPRC since 1997. She received her education at University of Kentucky, receiving her M.S. in Physical Therapy and B.S. in Health Sciences in 1997. Kelly was an All-American swimmer at the University of Kentucky, and she then pursued the sport of triathlon for the next ten years. Her swimming and multisport background has facilitated her treatment of local area athletes. Her specialties are manual therapy, myofascial trigger point release, and she is certified in dry needling. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the South Carolina chapter of the APTA. Her hobbies are backpacking, biking, swimming and yoga.

S. Kyle Alexander, DPT

Physical Therapist

Kyle Alexander, PT, DPT has been employed with HPRC Physical Therapy since 2014. He received his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at Mercer University in 2014 and his BS degree in Exercise Science at Georgia Southern University in 2009. He is credentialed as a Clinical Instructor and dry needle certified. Kyle is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Orthopedic Section. His specialties and interests include shoulder rehabilitation, spine rehabilitation and gait mechanics.
