Kathryn Stenslie, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Kathryn Stenslie, PT, DPT is a licensed Physical Therapist at St. Francis Rehab River Rd Clinic, Columbus GA and serves as Vice President of Operations for HPRC. Kathy has been employed with HPRC since 2008. She received her post professional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the EIM Institute of Health Professions in 2012, her B.S. degree in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Hogeschool Enschede, Netherlands, and her B.S. degree in Health and Exercise Science in 1995 from Furman University. She is ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Massage) and dry needling certified and her interests are in orthopedics and manual therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), APTA Private Practice Section, APTA Orthopedic Section and Physical Therapy Association of GA. She currently serves as President of the Institute of Private Practice Physical Therapy for the Private Practice Section. She resides in Columbus, GA with her husband, Joel, and 3 children. Her hobbies include running, biking, triathlons, family and travel.

Babette Smith, PT

Spine Physical Therapist

Babette Smith, PT, is a licensed Physical Therapist and works at St. Francis Rehab Main Street Village Columbus, GA. She has been employed with HPRC from 1998-2007 and in 2011. She received her Physical Therapy degree from Daemen College, Amherst, NY, in 1992. She is a licensed physical therapist in three states -- Georgia, Alabama, and New York. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her interest is spine physical therapy. Babette lives with her husband, Michael, and their children in Fortson, GA, and her hobbies are hiking and biking.

Joanne O'Connor, PT, OCS, PRPC

Physical Therapist

Joanne O'Connor PT, OCS, PRPC is a licensed physical therapist employed with HPRC since 2001. She is an APTA Board Certified Clinical Orthopedic Specialist since 2008, and a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Herman and Wallace Institute since 2016. Joanne received her BS degree in Physical Therapy from the University of CT in 1978. Her clinical interests include the spine and pelvic rehabilitation/women's health. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Women's Health and Orthopedic sections. She is a Certified Clinical Instructor through the APTA. Her hobbies include reading, and container gardening, and re discovering rug hooking.

Julie King, PT, DPT

Vice President of Operations, Physical Therapist

Julie King PT, DPT is a licensed Physical Therapist at St. Francis Rehabilitation Main Street Village. She has been employed with HPRC since 2008. She obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2008 and her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services Education from Auburn University in 2004. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia. She is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and is certified in ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Massage) and dry needling. She specializes in neurological and orthopedic disorders with a focus on knee and foot/ankle dysfunctions. Her hobbies are tennis, traveling, and community volunteerism.

Laura Sherwood, PT, DPT, OCS

Physical Therapist

Laura Sherwood, PT, DPT, OCS is a licensed Physical Therapist at St. Francis Rehab Main Street Village Columbus, GA. She was employed with HPRC since 2010. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010 from University of South Florida, and also has a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University in 2006. She is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and is certified in dry needling and ASTYM. Her special interests include orthopedic, neurological, and lymphedema related conditions. She lives in Salem, AL with her husband, Michael, and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Lindsay Newcomb, PT, DPT

Lindsay Newcomb, PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist employed with HPRC since 2016. She graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2014 from the University of North Dakota. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her clinical specialties include outpatient orthopedics and pelvic floor rehabilitation. She has received specialized training for pelvic floor rehabilitation through the Herman and Wallace Institute. Her hobbies include crocheting, hiking, hunting, as well as spending time with her husband, Kurtis, and their dogs, Jackson and Sadie.
